Painting Trips

There is nothing more fun than hopping into a car with only the slightest idea of where you're headed and heading there. Surprisingly, when the kids were little I could do this (thank you, long-suffering wife!) and now that they're grown up I can do it again, but for a while there I couldn't just get away. Leafing through my old files, I've pulled out these painting trips as examples.

All paintings are plein air and alla prima.
